Our timber furniture is crafted primarily from Sungkai and Teak wood, both known for their strength and long-lasting durability. Sungkai, a tropical timber from Indonesia, features a distinctive 'blonde' color and is used in our Seville and Coco Collections. Both Sungkai and Teak are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, but like most natural materials, they will naturally discolor over time. To ensure the longevity of your pieces, we recommend using a specific teak sealer for both indoor and outdoor applications. Applying a sealer will not affect the color or stain of your item; however, consulting a timber professional for the best sealer is advisable.

Our pieces leave our factory with a natural oil finish to complete the timber treatment. Please exercise caution with fabrics, carpets, and floors as this may cause staining.

For our rattan products, outdoor use is not recommended. If necessary, items such as hanging chairs should be placed under cover. Rattan can last longer in warmer climates like NSW and QLD, but in harsher climates like VIC and TAS, it may weather quickly outdoors. Rattan also discolors naturally. Most of our products have a thin protective coating to enhance the longevity of the material.

To care for your new pieces, use a minimal approach with natural materials like marble, stone, and concrete. Clean with warm water, a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, and an eco-friendly cleaner specifically designed for these materials. Avoid harsh, acidic cleaners that can damage or dull the stone. For added protection, use a marble/stone protector spray and clean with a microfiber cloth as needed. Coasters and placemats can help extend the life of your pieces.

Concrete and terrazzo pieces are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, while marble pieces are best kept indoors to avoid cracking, bleaching, or staining from harsh weather. As all our items are handmade, slight variations in measurements and finishes from photos are natural. Each piece is unique, and we hope you appreciate its individuality.

Our cushions are crafted by hand, so slight variations in size may occur, adding to their unique charm. The natural dyes used in our cushions can occasionally lift in certain areas, which is a characteristic of the dyeing process, not a fault.

To care for your cushion, spot clean with a mild detergent and avoid soaking. Keep it out of direct sunlight to preserve the vibrant color, and if needed, gently reshape while damp to maintain its form. Do not machine wash natural fibres or naturally dyed fabrics as the threads will seperate or colours will run. Following these care tips will help your cushion stay beautiful for years to come.

For Cotton Cushions: (excluding seagrass and natural fibre styles)

- Hand washing for best results.

- Cold gentle machine wash on light load or similar items.

- If using washing machine do not wash with heavy items such as towels, matts, jeans/jackets.

- Wash inside out where possible.

- Do not tumble dry.

- Avoid direct flat iron on print / Iron on the underside.

• Rattan Mirrors: Handcrafted from natural rattan, designed for indoor use only. Some natural color variation may occur over time, enhancing its unique character.
• Brass Pieces: Made from 100% heavy, non-rusting brass. Brass items may naturally develop a patina, which adds to their charm. Our brass wall hooks come with screws suited for each specific style.
• Resin Clam Shells: Crafted from durable resin to mimic natural shells, offering a coastal aesthetic without using real shells.
• Marble, Onyx, and Stone Decor: Each piece may feature natural imperfections such as small cracks, holes, or unique color patterns. These "perfect imperfections" are a testament to the natural materials used and make each item truly one-of-a-kind.

For care, we recommend a "less is more" approach. Clean with warm water or a microfiber cloth, avoiding harsh chemicals to preserve the integrity of each item. Our decor pieces are intended for indoor use only; exposure to outdoor elements can cause natural cracking, bleaching, or staining.

Lighting:

Our lighting fixtures are available only as pendants, and we do not provide the electrical components. For the right fit for your home’s roof height and other specifications, we recommend purchasing these components from Bunnings, IKEA, or lighting specialist stores. These components come in various colors and lengths to meet your needs. Our lighting frames are made of metal and are designed to accommodate standard light bulbs.

Care Guide for Rattan & Natural Materials:

To maintain your rattan and natural pieces, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth or feather duster to gently remove dust and debris. Avoid using rough or abrasive materials that may scratch the surfaces. For detailed or hard-to-reach areas, use a vacuum with a brush attachment on a low setting to clear dust effectively. When placing rattan furniture outdoors, ensure it is under cover to protect it from direct exposure to weather conditions, as this may affect durability.

Care Guide for Resin Materials:

The shell sconce and pendants are crafted from lightweight, durable resin, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Its weather-resistant design is perfect for outdoor spaces, and it can withstand moisture, making it suitable for wet areas and bathrooms. For maintenance, simply wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap spray (applied to the cloth, not directly on the sconce) to preserve its appearance. We advise against frequently removing the light from the wall to maintain its integrity and aesthetics.

Our handmade pots are designed exclusively for decorative use, perfect for styling indoor spaces. These pots are not intended for outdoor use or direct planting, as they aren’t suited for holding soil or water. Crafted from natural terracotta and often hand-painted, each piece is unique, showcasing artisanal craftsmanship. Because they are handmade, slight variations in measurements and finishes may occur, giving each pot its own individual charm and character.

Our Moroccan rugs are 100% authentic vintage pieces, sourced directly from Marrakech. Each rug is carefully hand-selected for its unique, one-of-a-kind style. As true vintage items, these rugs carry "perfect imperfections" such as flaws, fading, and other signs of age, which add to their charm and character.

To clean your Moroccan rug, start with a thorough vacuuming to remove surface dirt. Next, hang the rug outdoors on a sturdy ladder or clothesline, as it will become quite heavy once wet. Use a power washer or garden hose on a strong spray setting to rinse the rug in a downward motion, letting the water run off to remove dirt on both sides. You may use a mild, natural soap if desired, though we recommend caution as colors may run. Gently scrub with a brush or continue rinsing until clean. Allow the rug to dry outdoors in the sun for 12-24 hours. To speed up drying, roll the rug on a flat surface to drain excess water before rehanging to dry completely.
