The Shell Pendant light shade from Black Salt Co. is crafted from resin, a versatile and durable material that makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its robust construction ensures it can withstand various weather conditions, allowing for seamless integration into outdoor living spaces while maintaining its aesthetic appeal. However, we suggest placing the light pendant away from outside walls to prevent wind from damaging the light shade.

FIT / INSTALLATION

Our Shell Pendants and Shell Sconces both use normal size light bulbs and fittings.

For the Pendant, if you have the lighting already installed and at the correct length/height then you can just we've the cord through the top hole of the pendant, then through the middle shell opening you then attach a regular sized light bulb attachment.

We suggest with all electrical / light fittings to liaise with a professional to find the best and most safest solution for your home.

Regular cleaning not only keeps the pendant looking fresh but also protects it from potential buildup of dirt or grime. We recommend using a mild soap spray on the cloth first—please avoid spraying directly onto the product—to ensure thorough cleaning without risking damage.

Please note that we recommend not frequently removing the light from the wall due to its delicate nature. It’s best to leave it in place and out of the way of continuous handling to maintain its integrity and appearance.
